My Party!

Saturday, 28 May 2016

Today was my special 18th Birthday party that I have been planning for such a long time.
I'm not officially 18 until Wednesday, but I had my party beforehand as the weather was nice.
You guys have no idea how hard it is to find a venue that allows 18th Birthday parties...not all teens trash the place haha.

However, I decided to have it at home with a barbecue and all my friends and family came over to celebrate and enjoy the day with me. Here's a few snippets of the day!

I made the giant cardboard letters myself and coated it with gold spray paint, it was a lot of fun. If you would like to know how it was made, let me know below in the comments and I might make a blog post on it in my craft section.

This was my amazing cake that got delivered on the day!
I won't be cutting it or taking it out from the box until my actual birthday on Wednesday.

Photos of the preparation, I wanted it to be all very Pinterest! The mason jars and the dispenser was a really nice touch. Along with a mix of all my favourite things that are pastel and sweet! We had a snack table inside along with some disco lights, and all the main food outside alongside the barbecue. Everyone had a brilliant time. The cake my mum had made was gone by the end of the night. She's really good at baking, I love my mum's cakes.

There were a few games that were played by guests, beer pong and shot roulette and a range of made up games throughout the night. My first legal drink was tequila, I don't drink, but tequila is nice and I wanted to say that it was my first.

It was such a wonderful day, I loved all of it! There's not really too much to write about it, but I just wanted to share some photos of the day with you as it's nice to document. I hope you don't mind, see you all in my next blog post.
