Mum's Birthday 2015! ♥

Thursday, 24 September 2015

So today was my mum's birthday! Woohoo!

We all wanted her to have a super special day!
She had many beautiful cards & flowers (& Choccys!).

This year I bought her the 'Tisty Tosty' bath bomb from Lush.
It is supposed to be super pretty in the bath & it leaves dried rose petals in the bath!
(It smells sooooo good!)

We also bought her a scented diffuser for her room.
This smells really nice, it's in the scent 'White Jasmine' from Marks & Spencer.
& Lastly, we got her the BaByliss Hair dryer

Ciao my little gems!

Minnies | Seeing my old teacher?!

Thursday, 17 September 2015

Today, I was shopping for my mothers birthday presents and out of no where I heard someone shout "Hello Amelia!!"

It was my old high school teacher!

We had a little catch up of what I am doing in my life now, such as being on the new animal management course & she told me of how she had learnt some Spanish- the same as me!
(she even remembered I used to take private lessons!)

It was so lovely to see her again!

How crazy is that?

Sherwood Forest

Wednesday, 16 September 2015

Its been a tiny bit of time since my last blog, so I thought I'd treat you all to my trip to Sherwood forest! Now in case you don't know, its the forest that a certain outlaw was known to hide in, none other than Robin Hood. Yes the famous outlaw.

We walked down a scenic pathway covered in old dead leaves leading to a center, there were flags posted all over of old groups of the time. Gareth (A.K.A: Mr.T) joined me on the trip as we entered the beaten up old center in the middle of the forest. There were several rooms one with a projector about the history. Another with a room filled with the people and celebs of the day, such as Robin hood who would steal from the rich and give to the poor, Little John and the merry men even his love interest (Robin you player) and even the nasty Sheriff of Nottingham . The whole story depicted on murals and voice prompts. The most interesting of all is before his death Robin hood shot a random arrow into the forest and this is said to be where he is buried.

You can even see me getting executed ! How scary that must have been. Mr.T as you can see totally deserved his death haha!

The forest itself is simply beautiful, particularly when the sunlight shines through.
There was a choice of different footpaths, some are short walks, some are long. Gareth and I were on the path on search for the big oak tree where Robin Hood supposedly hid out in the forest. It is getting a bit old now, so it does need some help to prompt it up.  But isn't it just amazing?! It's HUGE!

What really shined out to me the most was just how different some of the trees were! What I mean by this is, some were different in shape and some trees were hollow so you would be able to literally step inside of them.
Overall, it had a nice atmosphere, not just the scenery, there were children with swords having play fights along their walk, acting out the scenes they perhaps saw from one of the famous Robin Hood movies. Just these small little things really make Sherwood Forest a magical place to be.
♥ Where you should go to visit..

If ever you're going to Sherwood forest, check out the wonderful wood shop run by Gareth's mother, it's in unit 15, in a quaint little craft center next to the forest.

Here is the store and its wonders!

Make sure you go and visit!

Minnies | My Summer Read! (Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter)

Tuesday, 8 September 2015

This summer I read 'Life with a Sprinkle of Glitter' - written by Louise Pentland (A.K.A my favourite Youtuber!)

Every word she writes is amazing, the style, her little quirky jokes, EVERYTHING. I can tell that every word and sentence has had so much thought put in to it, it feels almost as though Louise herself is writing specifically to me.
Every chapter is just so relevant to what we go through and the advice and ideas are really different and creative. I found myself every night... heck even on the beach ;) reading this book NON-STOP...I literally couldn't put it down.

There's something both of these have in common... the most BEAUTIFUL pages I have EVER seen in a book/ diary. It gives it that magical warm feeling which I love!

Louise, I am SO proud of you! THANKYOU for making the most beautiful book & diary I have ever purchased.

If you lot haven't got your copies yet, then I highly suggest that you do.
Put your next makeup money towards me it's much more worth it!x

Monday, 7 September 2015

Not too long, myself and Gareth went on a little trip to a farm for a day out!

I won't bore you with too much writing about a farm heh! So here are a few little snippets from the day out!

We were pretty sure this turkey took a keen liking to kept following us on the other side of the fence, it was an hilarious moment :D
I just love the sound they make...! Hah!

Thankyou Mr.T for such a fun day out :3 !

Ciao! xxx

Happy Birthday Mr.T! I hope you have the best day ever!
